These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") describe your rights and obligations in connection with your membership and use of services provided by buro. (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to abide by and be bound by these Terms and by the House Rules, which are published separately on this website. Please read them carefully.
For the purposes of these Terms, "we," "our," "us," or "buro." refers to NEPJEK Company Limited operating as buro., located at Osu Cose, Plot n. 7, Nyaniba Estates, Accra. We reserve the right to change the legal entity that charges you for the Services.
References to "you," "your," and similar words in this Agreement refer to the individual or entity registering for Services and agreeing to be bound by these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an entity, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary right, authority, and consent to bind such entity.
Your access and the scope of services provided by buro. are determined by your specific membership plan / product (e.g., Hot Desk, Fixed Desk, Private Office, Virtual Office, Day Pass, booking). We reserve the right to change or modify our services and these Terms from time to time, and we will provide notice of any significant changes.
To use the Services, you will need to download / access our App / Portal. Your agreement to these Terms, along with our general House Rules and any other policies made available to you, is required to gain access to the Space and your account. Your Portal login details are personal and must not be shared. You are responsible for ensuring the security of your login details and must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your use of the buro. space, including common areas, phone booths, huddle rooms, and private offices, must be respectful of other users and consistent with a professional office environment. You are required to abide by our buro. House Rules & Policies, accessible on our App/Portal and separately on this website. Violation of these rules, including the prohibition of illegal activities or harassment, may result in immediate cancellation of your membership without a refund. You are responsible for damage caused to our property by you or your guests.
The availability and scope of the Services are subject to change from time to time at our discretion. Our Premises and the Services offered may also change. We may modify, delete, or add to these Terms at any time and will provide notice by emailing your registered email address or posting a notice on our App / Portal. Your continued use of the Services following notice constitutes agreement to the modified terms. If you do not agree, you may terminate your membership with immediate effect upon written notice without an early cancellation fee. Fees paid for the current billing cycle remain non-refundable, and any Security Deposit shall be returned according to your specific membership agreement where a Security Deposit is required.
You maintain sole responsibility for your personal belongings; buro. assumes no liability for loss or theft. Upon termination or expiry, all personal items must be removed from the Premises. We may dispose of abandoned property and invoice you for removal costs. You must notify management immediately of missing, faulty, or damaged buro. equipment assigned to you, or you may be liable for replacement costs. Our public liability insurance does not cover your personal assets; we strongly advise maintaining your own insurance.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, you - for yourself and on behalf of your team and guests - waive all claims and legal rights against buro., its affiliates, and representatives (the "buro. Parties") for injury, damage, or loss of life or property, and release the buro. Parties from all such liabilities and claims.
We exercise no control over, and are not liable for, the conduct of other members or individuals using the Services. Should a conflict occur, buro. is under no obligation to intervene, mediate, or indemnify any involved party.
We may terminate or suspend your membership with immediate effect if you fail to comply with these Terms, pay fees, adhere to our House Rules, or comply with another specific service agreement. You are responsible for removing all property from the Premises upon termination or expiration of your membership.
Meeting credits and cash payments are applied at booking. Cancellation charges or credit deductions depend on the notice provided before the start time:
Cancellations must be completed directly via the App/Portal or confirmed with Front Desk staff during operating hours. Email requests sent outside Front Desk operating hours do not constitute valid notice.
From time to time, we may investigate actual, alleged, or potential violations of these Terms. You agree to cooperate fully in these inquiries. You waive all rights against the buro. Parties and agree to hold them harmless in connection with claims relating to action taken as part of an investigation.
You must not directly or indirectly take, copy, or use information or intellectual property belonging to other members, member companies, or their guests, including names, likenesses, voices, business names, trademarks, service marks, logos, trade dress, identifiers, or modified versions of the same.
You may not use the name "buro.", our business names, trademarks, service marks, logos, trade dress, other identifiers, or pictures or illustrations of buro. properties without our prior consent.
We may need to install software on your electronic equipment to provide the Services or technical support. We are not responsible for damage related to such support or installation, do not assume liability if a manufacturer warranty is voided, and make no express or implied warranty regarding the success of technical support.
You acknowledge that you have no expectation of privacy with respect to buro.'s internet, networks, telecommunications, or information processing systems. Activity may be monitored for security and policy compliance. buro. may monitor network-level metadata (bandwidth, connection logs, threat alerts) but shall not intercept or inspect the content of members' communications, files, or data, and shall have no right to access data on your devices.
buro. shall comply with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) in collecting, storing, and monitoring personal data.
The Services are provided on an "AS IS" basis. Except as explicitly stated and to the extent permitted by law, buro. disclaims all express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. buro. shall use commercially reasonable endeavours to minimize disruption and maintain power, internet, and facility security. If these services are materially disrupted for more than forty-eight (48) consecutive hours, excluding Force Majeure, buro. shall take prompt remedial action. If disruption continues unmitigated for more than fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days, the Member may terminate immediately by written notice without early cancellation penalties or late fees.
These Terms and the transactions contemplated hereby shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Ghana.
Except where either party seeks equitable or similar relief from a court of competent jurisdiction, a dispute arising from this Agreement that cannot be settled amicably shall be finally settled under the arbitration rules of Ghana then in force. Arbitration shall take place in Accra, Ghana, confidentially and in English. The award shall be final and binding and may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
